Design and Develop Digital Age Learning Experiences and Assessments
Teachers design, develop, and evaluate authentic learning experiences and assessments incorporating contemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning in context and to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes identified in the Standards.

Reflection:
This standard focus much on providing students with a personalized learning environment with technology and emphasize much on the education evaluation. It sets higher requirements for teachers, especially for those distance educators. Teachers not only have responsibilities to create trustable and reliable learning materials for their students but also know how to use those tools to evaluate students’ learning outcome and learning experience. To meet this standard, we have learned how to use online tools to provide students with a personalized learning environment. The projects that I choose for this standard are Course Site, Google Form, Edpuzzle, and podcast.
Course Site:
We are required to use Weebly to create our course site. It is a way to promote our creativity on course navigation and design personalized learning activities. Weebly makes it surprisingly easy to create a high-quality course website. When I develop my course, Weebly helps bring my some unique ideas to life. The tool for course design help students to have a deeper understanding of the structure of the curriculum. The design of the teaching activities and materials fully embodies the creativity of the students and the degree of knowledge of the course.
Google Form:
Teachers not only have responsibilities to create trustable and reliable learning materials for their students but also know how to use those tools to evaluate students’ learning outcome and learning experience. The quiz is a vital tool to be used in assessment to identify your areas for growth in these lessons. The quiz is an essential part of distance education. How to assess students' learning outcome in distance education mostly affects teachers' teaching plan for the next stage.
Edpuzzle:
Edpuzzle empowers the teachers to make any video about their lessons. When we use it, we can crop a video, explain it with our voice and embed quizzes at any time during this video. This kind of video materials makes the class much more engaging and perfect for teachers to attract students' learning attention. It is also a great tool to be used in the Flipped Classroom to guide students with their self - learning activities.
Podcast:
Teachers use Podcast to provide students with an episodic series of digital audio or video files which they can download and listen to. In this project, we are required to create an audio clip for our course as a part of the course materials. Using Podcast in the classroom helps strengthen students' impressions and skills in research, writing, and collaboration. The Podcast can be download and saved by students themselves for self-study after class.
